Franz Marc was a German painter and printmaker, one of the key figures of the German Expressionist movement. He was a founding member of Der Blaue Reiter, a journal whose name later became synonymous with the circle of artists collaborating in it.
15.5 x 18.5 inches framed; 11.25 x 15 inches board.
Condition: Overall good condition with some flaws; top layer of paint missing, revealing paint beneath in several places throughout the painting (please see photos). Paint loss around the edges from frame rub; board has a very slight concave warp.
