Rabbi Yaakov Abehsera nicknamed Abir Yaakov (1806-1880) was a rabbi in the Tafilalet region of Morocco. He was renowned as a kabbalist, rabbinical judge, orator and poet. He was an ancestor of Baba Salé and is also known for his attachment to the land of Israel. He tried many times to return to his land but never succeeded.
