Antique Engravings
- Four antique hand coloured engravings/etchings, numbered and titled 1 - "Le Lever", 2 - "Le Bain?, 3 - “La Toilette?, and 12 - “Le Coucher? from the series "Le Monument du Costume Physique et Moral de la fin du XVIII siècle" of French prints published in 1789, consisting of 26 engravings after Sigmund Freudenberger, and Jean-Michel Moreau, accompanied by texts written by Rétif de la Bretonne. Glazed in gilt frames.
Circa late 18th century to early 19th century.
Condition: with som foxing and minor marks commensurate to age. Frames in good condition.
