Relógio Francês Antigo - - An antique French figural clock in a gilt metal case with beautiful painted enamel face with gold detailing in a blue background, roman numeral and floral motifs, with additional five lower and side panels handpainted with floral motifs, urn shaped top with a small putti perched above. Complete with an antique hand crafted glass case on a wooden base. case stamped to back ”H.Breveté? and to foot “8 P.H. Mourey 62?, movement stamped “Japy Fils Expo 1855 Medailles 1844-1849?. Circa mid to late 19th century. Condition: clock in working condition, loss to gilding to top, and fault to suspension spring. Glass case in good condition, base with faults and velvet in very poor condition. Dim: clock 28x11x38cm high/ dome on stand 36x20x50cm high
