Escultura Art Deco - - An impressive Art Deco sculpture petit bronze (white metal), depicting a javelin thrower, elevated beautifully on a black marble base, by Romanian born sculpture Demétre Haralamb Chiparus (1886 - 1947). Rare and highly collectible, his pieces are easily recognizable for their remarkable bright and outstanding decorative effect with exceptional attention to detail. Circa: 1920’s/1930’s.
