Heart Model
- An antique anatomical model of the human heart, created using papier-mâché, it is life size and highly realistic.
Attributed to Dr Louis Thomas Jerome Auzoux (1797 - 1880)
Understanding the need for such models he founded a company in 1827 for the production of anatomical reproductions.
Circa : Late 18th century.
Condition : Used, signs of deterioration & small parts missing, with wear/use overall average condition.
