Anonymous 19th century French - Cartel Clock or Cartel d'Applique. French work called Cartel d'Applique, Louis XVI period c. 1800. Gilded bronze. It presents as decoration a krater at the top, plant motifs and a female mask at the bottom. White enamel dial with Roman numerals covered by its original crystal. Also original Paris type movement in perfect working order, checked and overhauled by a professional watchmaker. With pendulum and key.
