Mariano Peláez Langa (Madrid, 1920-2002). - Vase and person. Oil on canvas, with frame and passe-partout. Self-taught painter whose main source of inspiration was the works exhibited in the Prado Museum in Madrid. After the Spanish Civil War he trained as an engineer, and after his working life, he was able to devote himself exclusively to his work as a painter. He exhibited in different art galleries in Spain, Canada and the Bilbao Fine Arts Museum and was awarded various prizes and medals for his work.
