Antique lace strip from Brussels (Belgium) c. 1860/1880 - A strip of antique lace from Brussels (Belgium), known as needlepoint. It is a fragment of a larger piece that has not survived. The lace is richly decorated with flowers, stems, leaves and other floral and vegetal motifs all over the surface. It is finished off by two sinuous borders. There is some damage to the base of the lace, approximately 2.5 cm long, which does not affect the vegetal decoration. Good condition overall.
