Dutch chest of drawers, 18th century
Dutch marquetry chest of drawers. 18th century. Chest of drawers with four drawers at the front with a key lock and two handles on each one, decorated with plant-themed marquetry applications on the sides, front and top board. Both the upper board and the front have a series of curves towards the front, and in the lower part of the chest there are protruding elements towards the bottom that add further movement.
Stylistically, elements common to 18th-century European Rococo-style furniture (movement in the front, curves and counter-curves, etc.) can be seen, along with elements common to the Dutch school. Needs restoration.
Measurements: 90 x 47 x 79 cm.
