Coffee table, late 18th century
Coffee table in carved and gilded wood with a marble top. European work from the end of the 18th century. Top in light marble, trimmed to follow the contours of the piece of furniture. Cabriole-shaped legs ending in claws with balls, joined by means of a chambrana with a decorative element with architectural and vegetal motifs of classicist influence. The waist and upper area of the legs are decorated with carved decoration on a background of lines and dots resembling textiles. The composition on the front of the table is repeated on a smaller scale on the sides. It has faults.
Measurements: 98 x 65 x 79 cm.
