Pair of Fancy Thai Silver Boxes
The large box has symmetrical embossment decorations on its upper wall, depicting the figure of Buddha in its center and two Buddhist entities on both its sides over a background of organic and floral motifs, box interior is partitioned into two compartments coated in a very thin layer of wooden block, silver hallmark to the second box's base made of elaborate embossing and engraving on all its walls in different Rococo models and holes between them, on the box's base there is a hand engraved painting in the figure of an exotic bird and flowers around it, and Thai inscription in puncture technique on its side, the item is not marked, acid tested by the auction house.
