The exterior depicts a musical scene between a trubador and two maidens, and on its reverse the landscape of a garden and peacocks.
The interior of the box with a leather wallet with miniature compartments, a writing pad and miniature silver pencil.
Good condition for its age, light flaws and tears to the front wallet, however it generally does not take away from the item's beauty.
