A fine silver lezem amulet necklace- Yemen early 1900's
The necklace is made of high quality silver. Three amulet pendants hang from the bottom of the necklace. tassels hang from each of pendants. The body of the necklace is comprised from five rows of silver beads with three square plaques in the center. two end plaques known in Yemen as tadarif with cotton cord hold together the necklace. Fine filigree work throughout the plaques and pendants.
