An impressive inkwell made of bronze from France, 19th century
An impressive and hefty bronze inkwell, gilded on its parts. Its base is adorned with various motifs – legs featuring fish patterns, a satyr head, and twining vegetal ornaments. Additionally, its upper part is gilded and decorated with a lion's head.
Presumably crafted in France in the late 19th century.
Well preserved despite the absence of its glass vessels.
