An ancient Esther Scroll , placed in a silver case
An ancient scroll of Esther written on Parchment,placed inside a silver scroll house.
The Megillah is complete from beginning to end, and there are signs of corrections of some of the letters.
The Megillah is built out of three parts: the page on which the Megillah is scrolled, the scroll house itself, and a column that serves as a lid.
The case is decorated with Embossing work in shape of flowers, crowns, animals, and other decorations.
A heavy and massive scroll house reminiscent of Italian scrolls from the 18th century.
Silver signatures (twice), plus a late 925 silver stamp on the edge of the Megillah.
Length- 28.5 cm, weight of it all- 500 gram (including everything)
