Original vintage political propaganda poster for the 1929 United Kingdom general election - Out of the shadows. Unemployment CAN be conquered. Vote Liberal - featuring two illustrations side by side comparing upset men smoking in the rain with a sign on the gates Works Closed, contrasted with smiling men putting wages in their pocket with the smoke coming from the factory chimneys behind them and the sign that reads More Men Wanted. Published by the Liberal Publication Department. Printed by Grafton Arts Ltd. Good condition, creasing, tears, minor staining, paper loss in top left corner.
