Original vintage political propaganda poster for the 1929 United Kingdom general election - Betrayed again! - featuring an illustration of an elderly couple holding a Tory Pensions Scheme leaflet, the caption reads - 45,000 Old couples given only 10/- a week between them. 50,000 widows denied pensions altogether. Thousands of old folks deprived of 18/- Unemployment pay and given only 10/- pension instead. Vote Labour and Secure Justice. Published by the Labour Party. Printed by J. Howitt and Son.
