A Soviet propaganda poster How dust gets into the body and how it affects the worker's health designed by Russian Soviet artist Platov. Russian text reads as follows, The fate of dust in the body. 50 percent retained in the nose, 12 percent exhaled back, 38 goes to the lungs. Inhalation of large amounts of dust irritates the respiratory tract's mucous membranes and can lead to tuberculosis. Printed in OGIZ-IZOGIZ Moscow-Leningrad, 1931.
