RUSSIAN SET IMPERIAL AND MEMORY WAR 1853 MEDALS
A Russian set of two medals. First: Nicolas II Silver medal For Bravery, 4th degree, founded by Nicholas II, given for exploits during campaigns and wars. Numbered 826996 on verso. Second: medal in memory of the War of 1853, 1854, 1855, 1856. Established on August 26, 1856, St. Petersburg or the Yekaterinburg Mint, minted from 1856 to 1862. Dark bronze. This kind of medals was received by the ranks of the civil department, the nobility and merchants who did not take part in hostilities.
