RUSSIAN LANDSCAPE DRAWING ATTR TO YAKOV YAKOVLEV
Attributed to Yakov Yakovlev, Russian, b. 1947, ink on a paper drawing depicting sheaves in the field. Signed lower right. Matted and framed. Circa the 1970s or the 1980s. Yakov Yakovlevich Yakovlev graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the Novosibirsk Civil Engineering Institute. In 1975, he was accepted into the Union of Artists of the USSR, after that he began to engage professionally in fine arts, participating in all Union, national and international exhibitions. In 1976, he was a member of the Commission for Work with Young Artists, was a board member of the Novosibirsk branch of the Union of Artists. Soviet Russian Landscape Drawing Collectibles. Provenance: Anna Feltsman Estate. Feltsman family: Oscar Feltsman 1921-2013 was a Russian Ukrainian-born composer of Lithuanian Jewish descent. He was the father of Vladimir Feltsman, born in 1952 a Russian-American classical pianist. Anna Feltsman was the first wife of Vladimir Feltsman.
Dimensions: Frame 10 3/8 x 12 7/8 in. Plate 4 1/2 x 7 in. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Overall good condition. Signs of age and wear. Yellowing at edges, some dark stains on surface. Refer to photos. Sold as is.
