ADVERTISING POSTER PAINTING NICE BY PIERRE COMBA
Pierre Comba, French, 1859 to 1934, a watercolor on paper advertising poster painting depicting a view of the French Riviera coast with a lady holding flowers in the foreground. Titled Nice and PLM for the Railway Company of Paris to Lyon and the Mediterranean. Signed lower left. Circa the late 19th or the early 20th century. Pierre Comba was a painter of Italian origin. He is famous for his watercolors illustrating the life of the alpine hunters. Advertising Posters And French Art Collectibles.
Dimensions: 19 1/2 x 23 in. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Overall good vintage condition. Signs of age and wear. Tears on the edges. Refer to photos. Sold As Is.
