MID CENTURY HAND BLOWN TABLEWARE GLASSES, BLEFELD
A large collection of vintage multi colored hand blown cordial and champaign glasses most likely made by Blefeld circa 1960, and three fluted champaign glasses bearing the emblem of the Societa M.S. Maria Santissima del Buoncammino di Altamura 70th Anniversary. The genesis of the Buoncammino Society in 1925, began in the months following the armistice in 1918. The Altamurani community at large, preceding, during and after World War II, was basically situated in three enclaves. The largest was in Brooklyn, Bronx, and Westchester.
