EMILE GALLE FRENCH ART NOUVEAU GLASS IRIS VASE
Emile Galle, French, 1846–1904, Art Nouveau elongated pear-shaped vase manufactured in multilayer glass with iris decorations etched with red acid on a nuanced lemon green background. Signed to the body of Emile Galle, an artist and designer who worked in glass and is considered to be one of the major innovators in the French Art Nouveau movement. Early 20th century. No cracks or signs of restoration.
