A GERMAN BAROQUE 800 SILVER CENTERPIECE
A German Baroque era sterling silver centerpiece featuring an open tulip form bowl with an undulating motif and a cherub sitting on it. A stem is modeled as cherubs supporting each other with grapes. The cherubs stand on a base with floral and seashell decorations and Bacchus masks mounted to the bottoms. Marked to the underside with the manufacturer and 800 continental silver proof marks. Mid. 18th century. Weight 176 oz., 5010 g.
Dimensions: H: 20 3/4 in.
Condition: Very good with expected signs of wear. Nice patina throught. Refer to photos. Sold As Is.
