LARGE RUSSIAN GILT SILVER CLOISONNE KOVSH LADLE
A large Russian gilt silver cloisonne enamel kovsh. Kovsh is a traditional oval-shaped drinking vessel or ladle with a single handle. The item has a rounded body with a hooked decorated handle and a pronounced front. Enameled throughout with geometrical ornaments, embossed decorative elements, and red semiprecious stone cabochons embellish the handle. The Hallmark of the 84 silver standard and makers mark is on the bottom. Total Weight: 884 grams. Collectible Russian Silverware Serveware Tableware.
