CHINESE QING DYNASTY CARVED JADE FIGURE OF QILIN
An antique Chinese hand-carved white jade figure. Late Qing dynasty, before 1912. The piece represents a Chinese mythological creature, a horned dragon horse, also referred to as Qilin or Longma. Qilin is said to appear with the imminent arrival or passing of a sage or illustrious ruler. Fine detail work. Collectible Oriental Asian Carvings And Decor, Kylin.
