An antique photo or picture album with a gilt metal clasp. Made of leather. The cover is adorned with embossed scrollwork and foliage patterns, and a portrait of a lady holding a letter in the Rococo manner, encrusted with four faux gemstones. The spine features an embossed scrollwork ornament. A gilded floral motif on the sides. The clasp is adorned with an engraved pattern and decorated with interlaced rings. Each page has a mat for a photo. Completed with a pair of black and white cabinet portrait photos of ladies. Circa: early 20th century.
