RUSSIAN AVANT GARDE PAINTING BY ANTONINA SOFRONOVA
Antonina Sofronova, Russian, 1892 to 1966, abstract watercolor on paper painting. Signed by the artists initials lower right. Circa the 1920s. Framed. Antonina Fedorovna Sofronova was an artist and illustrator. She took part in the Jack of Diamonds, Mir iskusstva and Moscow Association of Artists exhibitions from 1914 to 1917. In 1929 she became a member of the group 13, a group of Russian impressionist artists. Abstract Paintings and Russian Avant Garde Collectibles.
