A pair of antique mid 19th-century lithographs representing a landscape view of Athens, Greece. First. Hand-colored print, titled The Agora, Athens, Greece in the bottom middle. Marked Drawn by Wolfensberger in the lower left. Marked Engraved by J.H. Le Keux in the lower right. Hand-signed in the lower right. White mat, wooden frame. Second. Titled Athenes in the bottom middle. Marked Rouargues Freres Del et Sc in the lower left. Marked Imp. F. Chardon Aine Paris in the lower right. Black mat, golden frame. Johann Jakob Wolfensberger, 1797 to 1850, was a Swiss artist. John Henry Le Keux, 1812 to 1896, was an English architectural engraver and draughtsman. Brothers Adolphe and Emile Rouargue were French printmakers active ca. 1820 to 1865. F. Chardon Aine was a French copper-plate printmaker active around 1850.
