RUSSIAN 84 GILT SILVER ENAMEL DIAMONDS CIGAR CUTTER
A figural Russian 84 Gilt Silver diamonds and enamel cigar cutter. The knife is made in a shape of a head of an eagle. The body is adorned with an overlay made in a scrollwork design and covered with polychrome enamel. The cigar cutter is decorated with a foliage motif, engraved with detailed patterns, and covered with enamel in a red shade. The eyes are encrusted with Ruby stones. A top features a relief image of an Imperial double-headed eagle, encrusted with a Sapphire stone and Marcasite stones. Marked with a standard Gold hallmark, and other Cyrillic and Assay marks. A cutter is marked, Germany, Feilring, Solingen, DBGM, and numbered, 5650. Presented in an original box with a clasp. Total weight: 189 g.
