ATTR TO GERTRUDE ABERCROMBIE STILL LIFE OIL PAINTING
Oil on masonite board painting, attributed to Gertrude Abercrombie, 1909 to 1977, an American painter based in Chicago famous for her bohemian lifestyle. The artwork represents a Surrealist still life with a leaf, ribbon, domino, jack and seashell. Signed by the artist and dated 1954 in the lower left. Associated American Artists label on the backside. Golden frame. Collectible Postwar American Modernist Fine Art.
