Frederick Albert Slocombe, British, 1847 to 1920, oil painting on canvas depicting two female figures, one woman is laying on the sofa while the other on the tiger skin on the floor. Signed by the artist lower right and dated 1884. Framed. Frederick Albert Slocombe lived in North London and became established as a highly successful painter of landscape and rustic genre, exhibiting widely at the Royal Academy and elsewhere for over fifty years.
