An antique Danish School oil painting on board after the original oil painting on canvas, Interior with Monks Tasting Beer, 1904, by Olaf Simony Jensen, Danish, 1864 to 1923. Unsigned. Framed. Danish artist Olaf Simony Jensen had a penchant for capturing the whimsical character of everyday life. Predominantly, Simony Jensen executed interior scenes. These had become popular in Denmark since the Danish Golden Age of Painting in the first half of the 19th Century. One of a kind artwork.
