A pre WWII Soviet mixed media caricature painting on paper by Russian artist Boris Efimov. 4 people are depicted: Georgi Chicherin, the Peoples Commissar for Foreign Affairs, Grigory Sokolnikov, the Peoples Commissar of Finance, Platon Kerzhentsev, Executive Officer of the Soviet Union, and Anatoly Lunacharsky, the first Soviet Peoples Commissar of Enlightenment. Signed and dated upper left, January 28, 1925. Boris Efimov, 1900 to 2008, is one of the most famous Soviet political caricaturists.
