Color serigraph print on paper by Michael Jay Knigin, 1942 to 2011, an American artist. The artwork represents a samurai with umbrella in Japanese woodblock style against the black-and-white panorama of New York City. Signed by the artist and dated 1979 in the lower right. Marked Trial Proof and titled Thunder and Shower I after Yoshitaki in the lower left. Utagawa Yoshitaki, 1841 to 1899, was a Japanese ukiyo-e artist. Collectible Modernist Graphic Art Prints, Orientalist Art.
