Georgia O Keeffe, 1887 to 1986, an American Modernist artist. O Keeffe is known as the Mother of American modernism who gained international recognition for her meticulous paintings of natural forms. Alfred Stieglitz, 1864 to 1946, was an American photographer and modern art promoter who was instrumental over his 50-year career in making photography an accepted art form.
