A 1980 Soviet propaganda satirical poster by Victor Zhilinsky. An anti American poster from the Cold War period, depicting extortion for military expenses related to the so called Soviet Threat. Published by Boyevoy Karandash, RSFSR Artist Publishing House, Design by Victor Zhilinsky. Circulation 3036 copies. Boyevoy Karandash, Combat Pencil, was a creative association of Leningrad artists who produced propaganda posters and collections of satirical drawings starting in 1939.
