An antique English Wedgwood Jasper ware Plaque with a scene from ancient Greek mythology. The plaque depicts an offering of gifts to a goddess, apparently Hera, the patroness of the family, women, and children, one of the 12 main gods of Olympus. In one hand the goddess holds a wreath, and in the other a cuckoo, one of the birds associated with Hera. Framed. Dated 1798 on the backside. Antique English European Wall Art and Home Decor For Collectors.
