WWII RUSSIAN SOVIET ERA MILITARY PROPAGANDA POSTER
A Russian Soviet era lithographic propaganda poster designed in 1941 by Nikolai Muratov, 1908 to 1992, a Russian Soviet graphic artist, member of the St. Petersburg Union of Artists, one of the organizers of Combat Pencil, a creative association of Leningrad artists, who produced propaganda posters during the WWII. The Russian text is a quote by Soviet author Boris Timofeev, 1899 to 1963, reads as follows: The three pigs or How partisans put a pig to the fascists. Combat Pencil N 44, Leningrad.
