LTD FRENCH PORTRAIT LITHOGRAPH BY MARCEL VERTES
Marcel Vertes, Hungarian, French, American, 1895 to 1961, a limited edition color lithograph on paper depicting a portrait of a lady. Signed in pencil, lower right. Numbered in pencil, lower left. Framed. Marcel Vertes was a French costume designer and illustrator of Hungarian Jewish origins. He won two Academy Awards, Best Art Direction and Best Costume Design, for his work on the 1952 film Moulin Rouge.

Frame 27 1/2 x 23 in. Litho 25 1/2 x 20 3/4 in. All measurements are approximate.
Condition
Overall good vintage condition. Signs of wear and age. Has some stains and a tear in the paper. Has chips in frame. Refer to photos. Sold as is.
