1958 ISRAEL GOLD MEDAL 10TH ANNIVERS OF INDEPENDENCE
A 1958 Israel Official State gold medal, 10th Anniversary of Independence. The obverse reads: ISRAEL LIBERATA, and shows a woman with wheat and a man with a farming tool on either side of the palm. The reverse reads IVDAEA CAPTA S C and the image on the reverse portrays a side of the coin struck by Roman Emperor Vespasian in 71 A.D after victory against the Jewish revolt in Judea.
