Marcelle Ferron, Canadian, 1924 to 2001, an oil on canvas painting depicting a colorful abstract composition. Signed by the artist lower left. Framed. Circa the second half of the 20th century. Marcelle Ferron was a Quebecoise painter and stained glass artist, was one of the original 16 signatories of Paul-Emile Borduas Refus global manifesto, and a major figure in the Quebec contemporary art scene, associated with the Automatistes.
