Oil on board painting. English, Georgian era, early 19th century. The artwork represents a fragment of a female face with focus on the right eye. Unsigned. Ornate wooden frame. Eye miniatures, also known as lovers eyes, became extremely popular in Britain around 1780s. They were commissioned as gifts expressing devotion between loved ones or in memory of the deceased. Collectible Fine Art, Historical Relics.

Condition
Overall good vintage condition. Signs of wear and age. Slight stains in paint. Has chips and cracks in frame. Refer to photos. Sold as is.
