ANTIQUE 18TH C ENGLISH ENGRAVING BY HENRY FLETCHER
Engraving on paper, hand-painted with watercolor. Floral still life with denomination underneath. Titled December, from Twelve Months of Flowers series. From a drawing by Pieter Casteels III, 1684 to 1749, a Flemish artist. Engraved by Henry Fletcher, 1710 to 1750, an English printmaker. Produced in 1730 for a publication by Robert Furber, 1674 to 1756, a British horticulturist and author. White mat, golden frame. Collectible Graphic Art Prints, Botanical Illustration.
