ENGLISH MODERNIST BRONZE SCULPTURE AFTER HENRY MOORE
After Henry Moore, English, 1898 to 1986, a modernist bronze sculpture Working Model for Mother and Child: Hood. Original artwork was created circa 1982 to 1985. This sculpture exemplifies Moores style, characterized by organic shapes and themes of the human form. Resting on a square black marble base, the sculpture captures the tenderness and intimacy of the maternal bond, rendered with Moores characteristic abstraction and fluidity of line.
