ANTIQUE RUSSIAN GARDNER AND POPOV PORCELAIN FIGURINES
Two antique Russian hand-painted porcelain figurines, each finely modeled and richly detailed. The first depicts a peasant in traditional dress pushing a bundle of wood in a wheelbarrow, marked with the Gardner porcelain factory mark on the base, dating to the second half of the 19th century. The second is a figure of a dough merchant, marked with the Popov factorys Cyrillic initials AP in monogram, attributed to the first half of the 19th century.
