A pair of grey painted mixed media collage construction artworks depicting abstract compositions. Each is signed, titled, Life, Death, and dated 1985, on the backside. Framed. Paper labels, City Sunscape, The Louise Nevelson Laboratory, signed by the artist and dated 1969, on the backside. Louise Berliawsky Nevelson, 1899 to 1988, is known for Cubist monochromatic wood assemblage. Creator of wood assemblages made from found objects and parts of furniture doused in black paint, Louise Nevelson became the darling of the New York art world, especially during the last three decades of her life when her success was assured.
