CHINESE YUAN/MING DYNASTY CELADON MALLET VASE
Ca. AD 1279 - 1644 A Chinese celadon mallet vase with two two dragon-fish handles, made during the Yuan to Ming dynasty according to the Song Longquan celadon type. Celadon production arguably reached its peak during the Song dynasty, which future generations attempted to recreate. For similar Song types see: The Fitzwilliam Museum, Object 77753.
