ROMAN BLUE GLASS BEAKER
Ca. AD 100 - 300A Roman blue glass beaker composed of a large conical body, a flat base, and a short flared rim. An elegant relief line under the rim is the main decoration of this object. Glass beakers were used in Roman society only by high-level people for their cost; ordinary people used wood dishes and beakers. For similar see: Christie's.
